Heartfelt thanks for supporting the charity fundraiser! Thanks to you, we have provided salaries for the staff of the supported living home, which means the project continues to operate, and nine wards continue to live in a warm, homely environment, and not in a boarding house. This year, the home in Razdolje turns 10 years old. What is everyday life for many of us, for people with severe disabilities has long been an unattainable dream. "Perspektivy" was able to change this. For ten years now, we have been proving that people with developmental disabilities can live a joyful and fulfilling life – if there is help and care nearby. In Razdolje, the people live almost independently. Each has their own room, activities and responsibilities around the house. They buy food and clothes themselves, cook, clean, make plans for the day. And they also regularly go into the city on their own business and hobbies. "Volunteers and social workers help them, but the guys are the owners here!" says social worker Pavel. – There is a schedule and people on duty. We give them the opportunity to express themselves. Kolya, for example, won’t be able to cook soup or cut bread, but he can carry plates and provide moral support. Dina can cut and cook something herself.
