Adolescence is a time when children experience a tangled mix of conflicting and heavy emotions: feelings of betrayal, guilt, and a desire to harm themselves or others. Even the love and care of foster parents are often not enough, because these children have learned to mistrust adults and struggle to accept their foster parents as "real" parents.
Thanks to your support, we were able to organize group therapy sessions with psychologists for children from foster families. In a safe environment, they learned that they are not alone, that there are other children with similar struggles. The most important thing is that the children felt supported. In a group setting, it became easier for them to share their feelings and find solutions. The foundation's psychologists, with their experience and expertise, know how to help these children manage their inner struggles and adapt to their new surroundings.
Thanks to you, 10 children were able to attend 12 group therapy sessions with a psychologist over 3 months. Your contribution has helped them on their journey to socialization and overcoming their difficulties.
Thank you for helping children regain confidence in themselves and trust in others!
