Thanks to your help, the ORBI Foundation team has created an adaptive subjects manual for people after stroke

One of the most common disabilities after a stroke is spasticity. The arm and/or leg on one side stops responding, making it difficult to do even simple tasks. The person loses their independence because they can't take care of themselves, brush their teeth, groom themselves, prepare or eat food, or move around the house. To help a person remain independent, we can adapt the objects around them to their specific needs. Some items, such as cutlery, can be purchased, but it's often easier and more effective to adapt equipment to fit the individual's needs. The ORBI Foundation is raising funds to create a series of videos explaining what adaptive items are, how to adapt items to meet the needs of stroke survivors independently, and what items can be purchased. In this way, thousands of people who visit the foundation's website will be able to use the published materials to make life easier for their loved ones and restore their dignity by helping them to remain independent.
