Tamerlan received a rehabilitation course

This is Tamerlane. He is 9 years old and really wants to get back on his feet as soon as possible. He has serious diagnoses: epilepsy, cerebral palsy, spastic tetraparesis, delayed psycho-motor development, partial atrophy of the optic nerve. The boy was born at 39 weeks, he is the first and only child in the family. During childbirth, Tamerlan suffered severe asphyxia (lack of oxygen). Immediately after birth, he was in intensive care, could not breathe on his own and was connected to a ventilator. Due to the lack of oxygen, the brain was severely damaged, mainly those parts of it that are responsible for movement and speech. Over the course of 9 years, Tamerlan underwent many rehabilitation courses and achieved a lot thanks to them. I learned to hold my head confidently, sit with support, my back became significantly stronger, and most importantly, Tamerlan understands spoken speech and sees his parents. Tamerlan underwent 2 operations to get back on his feet; a dislocation of his right hip was corrected. Through surgeries and extensive rehabilitation, he learned to stand with support. Now the boy needs to do a lot of exercise to strengthen his legs, and he has learned to confidently stand on his own and learn to walk - after undergoing operations, it is necessary to develop his joints and muscles in order to achieve results. Tamerlan needs an important rehabilitation course for him, which the family cannot pay for on its own. Only the mother works in the family; Tamerlan’s father is currently unable to work due to his own serious illness. Let's help Tamerlane together!
