Yaroslav came to St. Petersburg for treatment a year and a half ago from the children's home for the disabled in the Sverdlovsk region, where he had lived since birth.
The boy was born with a spinal malformation and moved only in a wheelchair until the age of 10. Doctors at the capital's clinic conducted a comprehensive examination and issued a verdict: he will be able to walk. Yaroslav underwent surgery, several stages of plastering, and several rehabilitation courses. All this time, he had a 24–hour babysitter - assistant by his side. The boy simply couldn't do without her.
The nanny not only helps Yaroslav with everyday difficulties, but also carefully follows the recommendations of doctors, monitors medication intake, and performs teacher's tasks with him.
In addition, unaccompanied children with disabilities are not accepted for treatment and rehabilitation. In June, the boy will have another operation and a babysitter is simply necessary for Yaroslav!
Help us pay for a round-the-clock babysitter for Yarik so that he can get the necessary help!
