Habibat is an inquisitive girl with a strong character

Seven–year-old Khabibat from Dagestan is a hard worker. She spends a lot of time every day doing the exercises that doctors recommend. He gets tired, of course, but it's impossible otherwise – even a short break in classes leads to a slowdown in development, and then you have to make great efforts to walk and use your hands again. Habibat has cerebral palsy with spastic diplegia and delayed speech development. She does not speak, but understands the speech addressed to her. "The recent achievement is that she began to fulfill requests. I tell her: get down, we'll change the diapers – she does," says Madinat, the girl's mother. Habibat likes to play with unfamiliar objects, especially if they make sounds or are pleasant to the touch. For example, it can rustle a package for several minutes until it understands its shape and properties. But then that's it, she won't be interested in it, because she's studied and understood it. With toys as well. Moreover, if you give her an object made of rubber, even if it's a cute baby doll, the Habibate will quickly give it back, also wrinkling her nose and wiping her fingers – she dislikes this material so much. The baby is growing up very curious. He loves music, songs from Soviet cartoons, and "The Nutcracker" is one of his favorites now. "After each rehabilitation course, my daughter's progress is noticeable. Now she walks with support, stands by herself at the support. She has a favorite doctor – she can take two or three steps with him on her own. She recently had a growth spurt, she is only 7 years old, but she has grown to 132 cm, so she has to learn to walk again. But Khabibat is trying, he's coping," Mom says.
