Just today, as we were typing these lines, our ward Ali turned 5 years old. He is the fourth child in the family. When he was six months old, the baby was admitted to intensive care with pulmonary oedema and spent 24 days under artificial lung ventilation. The presumed diagnosis was meningoencephalitis. Ali lost all his skills: swallowing, chewing, ability to hold his head, hold something in his hand, lost his vision. Thanks to several courses of rehabilitation, the child started sleeping better and began to try to hold his head up. But this is only the beginning of the journey. He needs regular rehabilitation courses to make a full recovery.
Thanks to your involvement, Ali continues his sessions with experienced professionals, allowing him to develop his swallowing reflex and learn to sit up independently. Your support makes a real difference to his life. We are truly grateful to everyone who responded and helped Ali and his family during this difficult time. Your kindness and desire to help have become a real hope for a better future for them.
Happy Birthday, Ali! We wish you health, joy and success on your road to recovery! May every new day bring you joy and new achievements. If we are together, anything is possible!
Thank you for being a part of this important cause and helping Ali on her road to recovery and independent living! You have truly made a big difference!
