Ali has completed the rehabilitation course, which is so necessary for the boy to recover from the surgery to remove a brain tumour.
Next year Ali will become a first-grader, and now it is especially important to continue rehabilitation.
Thanks to your help, Ali has undergone a course of lessons with specialists. Sitara, the boy's mum, is happy to talk about her son's progress:
‘My son's memory has improved, he remembers numbers, letters, even short poems. Thanks to lessons with a speech therapist, his speech has become clearer. Now he is understood not only by me, but also by others. There were a lot of lessons on balance and co-ordination of movements. Ali has become more confident in walking. At the playground he actively climbs steps, his fear of falling has gone. Of course, I am always there to protect him. During rehabilitation he liked the exercise where he had to walk along one lane and carefully avoid obstacles. Now he enjoys showing it to his younger brother, and he also gets involved in the game. It is very important to continue practising at home so that he does not lose the skills he has learnt. Ali is working with a psychologist and going to school preparation classes. Thank you very much for helping Ali to return to the life of a normal child!
