Ilez has always been very fond of cars. In his youth, he spent all his free time repairing trucks together with his father, and was ready to devote himself fully to this business. So when he was offered a job as a driver in the Far North, he gladly accepted. For several years he worked in harsh and difficult conditions, with rare breaks and trips to his native Ingushetia.
On one of these trips, Ilez had a fever, headaches, coughing, and aching joints. The young man was getting worse and worse. Tests showed that Ilez had blood cancer, acute leukemia. A complicated treatment began. Ilez underwent several courses of chemotherapy, and the disease receded. But the remission did not last long.
After the next scheduled tests, Ilez heard what he feared most of all - the cancer had returned. This time Ilez needs a bone marrow transplant. To find a compatible donor it is necessary to conduct a special study - HLA-typing. It is not included in the insurance program and it is not free of charge.
