Nail was born too early - at 31 weeks of pregnancy. Because of this, retinopathy developed in the boy's right eye and total retinal detachment occurred. To save his eye, Nail needs a series of surgeries. He has already undergone several surgeries, and the doctors have achieved positive dynamics - they removed epiretinal membranes and created conditions for the growth of the eyeball, and the funnel of the detached retina stopped shrinking. In order not to lose the effect of the previous treatment, to continue preserving the eye and spreading the retinal tissue, the boy needs the next stage of surgery. If the surgery is not performed, the retina will die and the eye will stop growing and begin to dry out. This will have negative consequences for the left eye and other organs in the head.
