Abdurahman grew up as a healthy boy and was no different from his peers. Recently, his parents noticed their son squinting when watching TV. At the examination, the ophthalmologist diagnosed a benign retinal neoplasm. The parents hoped that the doctor was mistaken, so they referred their son to an ophthalmo-oncologist. From him they heard a new diagnosis, scarier than the previous one: exudative vitreoretinopathy. Later another diagnosis was made - retinitis coatus. One of Abdurahman's eyes cannot see - the boy has a congenital disease, but for 9 years of his life no medical examination has shown it. There is a clinic in St. Petersburg where Abdurakhman can be helped. Surgery there is a hope for the boy to see with both eyes and develop further. Abdurahman's favorite hobbies - drawing and mathematics - are related to his eyesight. Since the beginning of his schooling, the boy has been distinguished from his classmates by his excellent academic performance, well-manneredness and kindness, as described by his teachers. He takes care of his younger brothers and sisters. There are 7 children growing up in the family, the father - a disabled person of the 3rd group - works at the institute. His finances do not allow him to pay for an operation for his son. Let's help Abdurahman to see with both eyes!
