Lisa is about to turn 8 years old this month. She is the fourth child in her family. The girl has Down syndrome. Since her birth, doctors have found she has several other dangerous conditions. Among them are heart defects, complete cataracts in both eyes and glaucoma. Lisa had her first heart operation in the first week of her life. A year later she underwent another complex operation with the installation of a canduite. When she was four months old, she underwent eye surgery to remove cataracts and glaucoma. Lisa is far behind her peers in physical development and has a delay in psycho-verbal development. In order for the child to develop fully, a rehabilitation course is needed at the moment, which includes classes with a speech therapist and psychologist, as well as courses of therapeutic massage. All this will help Lisa to learn to speak and interact with others. The girl's parents appealed to the charity foundation for help. The Foundation has launched a fundraiser to pay for all the necessary procedures and give Lisa a chance for a happy childhood.
