Islam is a young 20-year-old boy. He has suffered from epilepsy since early childhood, accompanied by frequent seizures. In addition to epilepsy, doctors have diagnosed him with severe mental retardation. Despite his difficulties, the young man understands spoken language, can make jokes and even perform simple tasks. However, the disease prevents him from living a full life. Islam's peers at this age are deciding on a future profession and planning their studies, while the young man's relatives only dream of his recovery. Since 2016, Islam has been under the supervision of a neurologist, epileptologist, paediatrician and psychologist. At the moment, to improve his condition, the young man needs classes with a speech therapist and a psychologist, as well as massage and kinesiotherapy sessions. Unfortunately, the young man's family cannot cover all the costs of treatment on their own, they need our support. Let us together help Islam to get healthy and undergo the necessary treatment.
