Due to prematurity, Yodgora has delayed psychomotor and speech development, retinopathy with detached retina - without treatment the girl may go blind. Yodgora undergoes regular rehabilitation to cope with her diagnoses, and the family rejoices at each of her achievements. Her parents work at a chemical factory with a salary barely above subsistence level - all the money is spent on their daughter's treatment. Her older brother got a job at the rehabilitation center where her little sister works, so that he could also pay for Yodgora's treatment. The family lives modestly, but so far they have tried to manage and have not asked for help.
