Egor was born with a complex malformation of the spine (Spina Bifida), which causes significant damage to the nerves and spinal cord. For 4 days, the baby has already undergone the first surgery to suture the hernia. But the damage to the nerve tube, unfortunately, has remained forever.
After the operation, Egor suffered meningoencephalitis, then a number of complications were revealed: hydrocephaly (shunt was installed), epilepsy, delayed speech and motor development, paraproctitis, urolithiasis, scoliosis of the third degree. During his two and a half years Egor underwent 13 operations and 16 anesthesia. The consequences of the disease made themselves known: Egor does not turn over, does not sit, does not stand, does not walk, does not speak.
But if we put aside all these medical terms, we will see a happy, smiling boy, who is very fond of his parents.
Egor is a kind and cheerful kid. On the playground, he reaches out to other kids, tries to attract their attention, and is very eager to communicate!
Egor has a very good potential. But the boy needs help. He needs a six-month training course with a LFK instructor and a speech therapist. Doctors predict that regular classes will help Egor to learn to sit confidently, then to stand with support, crawl, and express his desires.
We will help Egor to start to know the world around him by himself!
