Children with special needs received support from educators and psychologists

Kids from orphanages often do not know the most basic things: days of the week, names of vegetables and fruits. Many our kids in ward start to in our social center when they come for treatment to Moscow. This is what happened to Semyon. At the age of 9, the boy did not speak and walk. Over the 3 years under the care of the foundation, his life changed for the better, partly owing to work of our specilaists. The boy did his first steps and said his first words! Now he can communicate and even plays basketball in a wheelchair. Dasha, who lost her voice due to illness, is able to speak again thanks to a speech therapist and asks now “a hundred thousand whys.” There are 13 kids in social center now who came to Moscow for treatment and long-term rehabilitation. Despite their illness, they want to learn. And our foundation and our specialists:teacher, psychologist, tutor do their best to give these kids the chance to learn. Classes with teachers are very important for orphans. They give them new knowledge, help them to socialize and teach them how to interact with other people. Thanks to your support, we will be able to pay for the work of teachers so that children learn to read and write and also feel needed, smart and capable!
