When Ali was six months old, he was admitted to intensive care with pulmonary oedema. He was on a ventilator for 24 days. He was presumed to have meningoencephalitis. During his illness, Ali lost all his skills: he learnt to swallow, chew, hold his head and objects in his hand, and lost the ability to hold objects in his hand.
After several courses of rehabilitation, Ali started sleeping better and began trying to hold his head up. However, this is only the beginning of the road to full recovery. For this he needs to undergo regular rehabilitation courses.
Ali is taken to the rehabilitation courses by his mum. The boy is growing up and it is getting harder and harder for his mum to carry him in her arms. To make it more comfortable for her to move around with the child, it is necessary to buy a pram. Taking into account that Ali has left-sided scoliosis and other problems with the musculoskeletal system, he needs a special pram.
Unfortunately, Ali's parents cannot pay for an expensive pram. Let's unite and help this family!
