On weekdays, work is in full swing in the social canteen of our foundation from the very morning. Cooks are rushing to prepare dishes for complex lunches for 40 low-income elderly people. Junior cook Elena is an important member of the team. Tirelessly, she processes impressive volumes of food: she washes, peels, cuts vegetables, rinses cereals, and monitors the preparation of dishes. In just one month, Elena and other cooks prepare 920 portions of complex lunches. This means that 920 times our wards were fed to their fill, and were also kindly and politely served by the friendly employees of the canteen.
