More than 30 cats live in the private shelter "Moskovskie Murlyki". Most of them manage to find owners, but there are a few animals that have been living in the shelter for many years. Over the years, diseases come, and to maintain their health, they constantly need therapeutic food prescribed by veterinarians.
For example, one of our elders, Delika, who has been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, vitally needs dry food with reduced iodine content, otherwise all efforts to treat her with medicines have only a very short-term effect. And she needs such food for life.
Max (he is 4 years old) has urolithiasis, in February he underwent surgery to remove six stones. The handsome Anton Alexandrovich (for his own you can just Tosha) has IBC just beginning - crystals and sand have been detected. If you do not feed the boys therapeutic food, the stones will appear and quite quickly.
And we also constantly need gastrofeeds for newcomers, because cats usually get to the shelter with GI problems because of living on the street.
Let's help homeless cats to stay healthy!
