Your help allowed Anna and her son Vova to cope with difficulties, and the temporary accommodation program to continue its work

After a difficult divorce from her husband, Anna and her four-year-old son Vova were left without money and without housing. Anna did not have a job, and her son did not attend kindergarten. To make some money, Anna sold her long hair. This was enough for only one month of payment for a room in the apartment. In order not to be left on the street and not to lose her parental rights, the woman turned to the SOS Children's Villages charity organization for help. Now Anna and Vova live in the temporary accommodation house of the SOS Children's Village. Specialists of the charitable organization help Anna to apply for the necessary benefits for free and arrange for Vova to go to kindergarten so that Anna can find a job, and in the future, housing. Support will continue until Anna begins to cope on her own. The program of temporary accommodation of birth families with children, which is implemented by the charitable organization "SOS Children's Villages", helps families with children to cope with difficulties and prevent the separation of children from parents, avoiding the deprivation of parental rights and the end of children in residential institutions. In the temporary accommodation home, families receive psychological support, help with food, clothes and other necessary things. It is a place where families can feel safe and supported. Up to five families with children can live here at the same time. At the moment, 5 families with 9 children receive support from the specialists of the charitable organization. In order for SOS Children's Villages to be able to continuously provide the necessary assistance and support not only to Anna and son Vova, but also to many other families who have faced difficulties, we need your help.
