Thanks to you, Afruza's vision has been operated on!

Afruza was born weighing just over 1 kilogram, and at 5 months old she was diagnosed with retinopathy of prematurity. To operate on her eyes, the family had to sell their only house. The surgeries failed, and Afruza was recommended to go to Russia for the operation. Thanks to your donations the operation took place! The result will be known in a few months. Doctors will examine the child again and decide on further treatment. The operations against retinopathy are stage-by-stage, but at such a young age the chances of restoring eyesight are very high. The remaining funds were used to pay for glasses for Anya. The girl was born 12 weeks prematurely, because of which she developed hemorrhagic retinopathy of prematurity. Her eyesight was saved thanks to a shot of SEFR inhibitor, but due to the fragility of the retina, her vision remains weak. This year Anya started 1st grade and the strain on her eyes has increased. Anya wears complex glasses, but they need to be changed quite often as the child grows. Glasses with special compound lenses will help to stop the drop in vision and help Anya to study at school.
