The bones of the skull fused together prematurely, forming dense sutures and leaving no room for brain development. The child's growing brain fought for its place, deforming the skull. A timely operation made it possible to correct the situation and give both the brain and the skull the opportunity to grow. Nugyman spent eight days in the hospital, after which he safely went home to his dad and brothers and sisters. He has five of them.
