Along with the international community, the Republic of Abkhazia also faced the test of confronting and combating the coronavirus.
We continued to work during the period of self-isolation and we are working now. At this difficult time, help is needed especially! Every month the Foundation receives more than 20 families with seriously ill children, who need constant medical assistance: some need hospital treatment, some need outpatient treatment, some need expensive medicines.
They are all waiting for our help and we can't let them down!
Our employees, as before, receive parents of seriously ill children, process applications, organize online fundraisers to raise money for the treatment of children and for humanitarian aid to the families who are in special need.
Our administrative costs are covered by our partner companies, but during the pandemic three of them stopped helping us because they are on the verge of bankruptcy and we have to pay the administrative costs every month! We still have not been able to compensate for the losses of our partners, and we are again asking for your help.
