Rezvan is 3 years old, he has a speech delay. By the age of one, the boy did not respond to the name, did not understand the addressed speech, and walked on tiptoe.
The behavioral analyst conducted testing to establish the current level of the child's academic, communication, and social skills and barriers associated with undesirable behavior (VB-MAPP testing). Based on the test results, the goals for building an individual training program for behavioral correction of Rezvan were determined. Already during the lessons, the boy began to follow the instructions of the teacher. In addition, the child was introduced a system of tokens, the concept of "first-then", he learned to ask for desired objects and actions in a socially acceptable way (through an index gesture and a card), as a result, eye contact was improved.
With the help of a speech therapist, a speech pathologist, little Rezvan began to form onomatopoeia, he began to learn to pronounce vowels and consonants clearly. The boy began to study prepositions, which is an important step towards forming coherent speech. In addition, there is a positive trend in the understanding of converted speech, Rezvan has become much better able to understand the addresses and instructions of teachers.
Thanks to your help, little Rezvan has successfully completed a rehabilitation course! Thanks for the support!
