14 blind and visually impaired children received special books for skills and thinking development

By September 1, let's give special books to the Foundation's 14 6-7 year olds. They are needed for blind and visually impaired children to learn to read meaningfully and engage in independent activities, to stimulate residual vision, to develop tactile and auditory perception, fine motor skills, as well as speech, memory, attention and thinking. Bright and beautiful books are created taking into account all the recommendations of typhlopedagogues for children with visual impairments: - large print, Braille - electronic device "Reading Pencil" - typhlocommentaries - materials of different textures - moving and play elements, constructions - raised embossing on the contour of images. Children will receive a new set of books "The World Around Us": - a polysensory book with typhlocommentaries in 2 parts: "Antonyms" and "Carnival of Insects", - a booklet with full texts of poems, - cards with entertaining tasks, - electronic device "Reading Pencil", - a three-dimensional game set - figures of the book's characters and a colorful package-decoration for the table theater.
