Asiyat is an adorable little girl who recently turned one year old. She is one of two beautiful twins. Unfortunately, both babies were born with a cleft palate. This defect significantly affects their ability to eat, breathe and speak properly. In order to help Asiyat and her sister develop the necessary skills, they need regular sessions with a speech therapist, as well as massage sessions and swimming lessons. Unfortunately, the financial resources of Asiyat's parents are extremely limited. Her father, who suffers from musculoskeletal disorders, is unable to work.
