From early childhood, Diaz was engaged in professional swimming and achieved great success in it. But, as a result of an accident, the teenager lost part of his left arm. Resuscitation, multiple surgeries, amputation. Life started over, he had to learn everything anew, all the most basic skills: getting dressed, fastening zippers and buttons on clothes, but without one arm. But what about professional swimming?
Strong-willed Diaz decided to continue training: “At first it was difficult, but the coach worked with Diaz every day, he was very supportive,” the athlete’s mother shares. And Diaz himself said that during swimming, the pain and thoughts about his disabilities went away. Thanks to perseverance and support, Diaz became part of a large and friendly Paralympic swimming team in the national team of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Diaz needs a functional microprocessor-controlled forearm prosthesis that will help the teenager expand his opportunities for life, study and sports. Everyone can become a fan of Diaz, and together we can become a whole stadium of support for the athlete and chant: "Diaz forward, we are with you!"
