Vika is the only long-awaited child in the family. The baby was born in a very serious condition, with acute respiratory failure. The diagnosis of cerebral palsy spastic diplegia, GMFC level 3, was made when Vika was 1 year old. For five years her parents have been fighting for their daughter's health.
At the age of 4, Vika underwent an Achilles surgery. After that Vika started to undergo rehabilitation courses. And on the fourth week of the course, the little girl took her first steps. If possible, Vika's parents take rehabilitation courses twice a year.
Victoria is a very cheerful girl! At the age of 5 Vika knows all letters, numbers and even tries to read and solve examples. She loves to walk and draw. She dreams about a dog.
Vika tries to walk independently, but with a growth spurt these skills are lost. Long distances cause the little girl a lot of pain. Vika has a very strong tonus in her legs. The child grows, but the muscles remain the same due to spasticity. That is why Vika needs constant exercises, namely practicing the skills of independent walking, joint development, stretching.
For flights to rehabilitation and transportation around the city, Vika needs a stroller, which, unfortunately, parents cannot buy on their own.
But with your help we can help them! Vika needs your support very much!
