Kostya's pin was successfully replaced and he has almost regained his walking skill!

Kostya is an incredibly strong and cheerful boy of 12. The long-awaited firstborn in the family, he was born with multiple fractures. It turned out that the baby has a genetic disease that makes bones fragile - osteogenesis imperfecta. Kostya is a brave, kind and sympathetic child. He studies at a regular school where everyone loves him, is fond of cyber sports, loves to go for walks and dreams of becoming a programmer or a doctor. For 10 years Kostya has suffered more than 20 fractures, scheduled operations to correct bones and joints. The boy was fitted with special telescopic pins and surgery to correct X-shaped legs. In March 2024, severe pain started in both legs, because of which Kostya could not walk. Since then, he has been moving only on a wheelchair. Doctors have already performed the boy's first surgery, replacing the telescopic pin in his right leg. But that's only half of it. To walk fully, he needs both legs.
