On average, about 50 forest fires are registered annually in the Republic of Degestan, covering about 100 hectares.
There is a historical site here - the Verkhniy Gunib natural park for the protection of a unique alpine forest. In the pine forests there is a sanatorium for children suffering from respiratory diseases.
The value of each forest plot here is very high. Fires can threaten the lives and property of 100,000 people: local residents, tourists, employees of institutions and children living in the sanatorium.
Pine forests have an increased fire danger, and the increase in tourist flow increases the risk of fires. It is important to prevent fires, and if they occur, to extinguish them before the fire spreads on a large scale. To do this, it is necessary to equip the UAZ vehicle in the fleet with a trailer for transporting fire-fighting equipment and a supply of water. Employees will be able to more effectively fight fire in the valuable forests of the natural park and in the surrounding areas.
