Nurbolat is seventeen, adores the exact sciences and is always trying to learn new things. Because of his "fragility" he had to study at home from the first grade, but this did not prevent him from winning Olympiads in a variety of subjects and graduating with straight A's in ten classes.
From 2011 Nurbolat was treated with bisphosphonates, but unfortunately, he continued to "break", although much less often than before the therapy. Nurbolat's numerous leg fractures led to bone deformities, and the doctors installed pins to straighten them. And then the boy grew up, his bones got longer, and it became necessary to replace the pins with titanium elastic nails that would help his legs support his body weight. Last year, TENs had already been installed in his right thigh and tibia; now it was time to install them in his left tibia. The operation to install the heating elements costs 457,447 rubles, which is money Nurbolat's family simply does not have.
Nurbolat now walks with the help of two four-pointed canes and dreams that someday he will be able to do without them and walk confidently without support. He also dreams of becoming a programmer and has already made great progress in computer science. Next year he's going to Moscow to enter the university, and he really needs strong legs.
