Akzholu successfully repaired the hole in the interventricular septum of the heart!

Dear tubers! We hasten to tell you about the good deed that took place just a month ago thanks to your mercy! Baby Akzhol was born with a complex heart defect. The plan of cardiac surgeons to eliminate the interventricular septal defect involved two consecutive operations: narrowing of the pulmonary artery (preparatory) and radical correction of the interventricular septal defect in conditions of artificial circulation (basic). In November, the boy was hospitalized for his first surgery. During the preoperative examination, the council considered it advisable to wait a couple of months and carry out a radical correction of the heart defect, thereby saving the boy from a double surgical intervention. At the end of January, such an operation took place. Cardiac surgeons created an artificial circulatory system, stopped a tiny heart, found an abnormal hole in the wall between the ventricles and put a special patch. The hole was large, 5 by 8 millimeters. Considering that it should not be present in a healthy heart, it becomes clear why the natural blood flow has been disrupted, affecting the general condition of the child and the condition of all systems and organs. The operation was difficult, but it went well. Baby Akzhol spent several days in intensive care, then in the general ward of the cardiology department and returned home two weeks later. Mom says that his condition is much better than before the operation. There is no limit to her joy. We hope that Akzhol will recover completely after the operation.
