One day, Masha Capmoale almost suffocated because a tumor growing in her body since birth had displaced her trachea. This tumor is called a lipoma. It's benign, but it constantly grows in size, sprouting into her muscles and deforming her bones. And because of the extent of the lesion, it cannot be removed completely, so what is left begins to grow again.
Until recently, treatment was reduced to the following: cut, remove, wait until it grows again. In Moldova, where the girl was born, they do not perform such operations at all, and Masha's whole family - mother, grandmother, and aunt - lived and worked for one goal: to make money, to find money for the operation in Russia before the tumor killed the child. It could grow in about 2 to 4 years. And after surgery the race was on again. So Masha had already had three surgeries. Her spine and left hand are severely deformed.
Luckily this year there is a new medicine, which has already proved itself in the treatment of lipomas. It could be a lifesaver for Masha, saving her from having to be on the operating table again and again, but to start treatment, the girl must come to Moscow for a long time and be under the care of doctors during therapy - for Masha, as a foreigner, all treatment was and is paid for. And the medication itself costs a lot - 46,500 rubles for a package, and to start a course of treatment they need three.
Masha really needs our help. Her mother was able to bring her daughter to Moscow, she got a job, but rented housing still "eats" almost all of her earnings. To buy a life-saving medicine for Masha, my mom is not able to do it now. But you and I can do it!
