Khadizhat is 11 years old, she has mental retardation, general speech underdevelopment of level 1 with emotional and behavioral disorders. The girl does not speak, understands the spoken speech at the everyday level. The completed rehabilitation course helped Khadizhat overcome the fear of unfamiliar places, the girl became calmer, attention and concentration improved.
Thanks to classes with a sports instructor, Khadizhat's physical skills have significantly improved, especially large and small motor skills, balance, and hitting the target.
During the intensive classes, the specialist worked on expanding the vocabulary, correct and precise pronunciation of words, adding adjectives to the girl's speech, and using prepositions and endings correctly. Khadizhat also learned how to answer the questions "What is your name?", "How old are you?", "What is your mother's name?", before starting rehabilitation, she did not answer the questions. In addition, the specialist worked on the development of the child's basic academic skills – distinguishing actions, colors, two-component tact, shapes, sizes, and expanding the repertoire of requests. Khadizhat coped well with the tasks set, actively interacted with the teacher, and most importantly, the girl developed an interest in the cognitive process and learning!
