Arina's dream came true

Ilyasova Arina is a 13-year-old girl from Almaty, who is living with cerebral palsy, spastic diplegia. Arina's greatest dream was to see the sea. To make this dream come true, a fundraising campaign was launched at the end of 2024 with a target of 918,000 tenge. By the end of 2025, the campaign was successfully completed, raising 897,764 tenge, after which preparations began for the trip, scheduled for the end of January 2026 to Dubai, UAE. On January 27, Arina departed from Almaty to Dubai with Air Astana. Upon arrival, participants were provided with an individual transfer to the Rove Dubai Marina 3 Hotel*, where comfortable accommodations were arranged. The trip program was full and exciting: Arina saw the famous Burj Khalifa, rode the Ferris wheel, visited the Flower Park and the cultural and entertainment complex Global Village, and spent time exploring the city and its shopping centers. The most anticipated and touching moment was visiting the sea; seeing the horizon over the water brought Arina genuine feelings of joy and happiness. On January 31, she flew back home. The trip was Arina’s first journey abroad and left unforgettable memories for her and her family. At the end of the program, Arina was presented with a personalized commemorative statuette in honor of the fulfillment of her cherished dream, symbolizing that dreams do come true.
