A year ago, Maria, a mother of four children, one of whom was adopted, reached out to the foundation. Misha has been part of the family since he was a year old, and he’s now nine.
Misha has always been an energetic child with a keen interest in exploring new things. He loved taking apart toys to see how they worked and has been under a neurologist’s care for ADHD since childhood. Over time, other traits emerged: Misha could obsess over an idea for hours, often unaware of those around him, and he rarely showed empathy. When he started school, challenges arose: despite good academic performance, he began acting out, getting into fights, and displaying aggression at home.
As Misha started running away and becoming physically aggressive with family members, Maria turned to the foundation for help from psychologists to support her son. The goal of this fundraiser is to cover the cost of therapy for Misha and other children facing similar issues.
Misha is not hopeless, but he does need professional support. With regular sessions, a psychologist can help build a connection with Misha, improve the family’s emotional environment, and support Maria in restoring their relationships.
