Samira has completed an intensive rehabilitation course in Astrakhan!

Samira is 8 years old, she has delayed speech development and an autism spectrum disorder. By the age of 1.5, parents began to notice that the baby was lagging behind in development. She did not respond to requests, did not respond to the name and did not look into the eyes. Thanks to the lessons, the girl began to understand spoken language and follow instructions, and onomatopoeia began to develop. There are also successes in the conscious pronunciation of sounds and individual, simple, words. Samira learned how to sort objects, confidently distinguish colors and correlate the sizes of objects. The first stage of PECS alternative communication was introduced to the girl and an index gesture was formed. Work was also underway to develop self-service skills. After classes with an adaptive sports instructor and a sensory integration specialist, Samira learned how to keep her balance, follow instructions with an object (hoop, ball, cones, bizboard), work out on simulators (treadmill, stationary bike, elliptical trainer), climb stairs, jump over barriers and much more. The girl's large and small motor skills improved, she learned to understand and follow the instructions of the teachers.
