Makka, 13, suffers from cerebral palsy and cannot walk or talk. Thanks to rehabilitation programmes, she learned to get up from the couch and take a few steps on her own. Now Makka has serious problems with her spine: doctors have discovered kyphosis and scoliosis. To prevent aggravation of the situation and ensure comfortable movement, specialists recommended purchasing a specialised wheelchair with an orthopaedic backrest and seat. The family budget is limited, as the family consists of eight people, and funds are spent on everyday needs and support for other children. Therefore, paying for expensive medical equipment becomes an impossible task.
