Eco-speakers of «No More Garbage» held eco-quizzes for 218 children from 7 cities in Russia.
In the team game, schoolchildren learned many new, sometimes shocking facts about the state of the environment. The questions and tasks were interesting, and the competitive effect encouraged the participants to think about the questions and reason logically.
The quiz consists of several blocks: the problem of waste, the fight against waste, recycling as a solution, waste reduction. In a short time of the quiz, the speaker introduces children to various environmental problems and ways to solve them.
During the quizzes, the children learned that there is an island of plastic in the ocean, how it got there and how it harms nature. The children also discovered a scheme for recycling plastic, learned how long it takes for it to decompose and how it harms nature. The teams looked for answers on how to reduce the amount of microplastic in our lives and the amount of waste in general.
