Suzanne is thirteen years old. She writes poetry, draws, studies well and takes first places in district competitions. She also dreams of becoming a doctor - to treat people and relieve them of pain and suffering. Now she needs help herself - the child is suspected of having a congenital genetic mutation of the immune system, rare and incredibly dangerous. The disease manifested itself gradually and gave complications to many organs and systems. Suzanne has chronic bone inflammation, liver fibrosis, lung nodules, ulcerative colitis, constant headaches, optic nerve swelling and regular bleeding. For a long time doctors tried to put all the symptoms together, but only Moscow immunologists were able to suggest genetics. Now Suzanne needs to undergo an expensive high-tech genetic study to find out exactly in which gene the breakage occurred. This will clarify the diagnosis and prompt the doctors for further treatment tactics - as effective and safe as possible.
