Muhammad is the youngest in a family of five. He was born prematurely, at 26 weeks, weighing only 730 grams. The baby suffered ischaemic and haemorrhagic strokes, which led to a brain haemorrhage. As a result, he developed associated diagnoses: left-sided hemiparesis, epilepsy, and bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD). Muhammad is now three years old. After a lot of rehabilitation, the boy has been put on his feet, but he still cannot hear and speak. He has delayed psycho-verbal development (PDD), delayed speech development (DSD). In order for Muhyammad to continue on his road to recovery, he needs a rehabilitation course at a specialised centre, including an individual development programme, classes with an ABA specialist, sensory integration specialists and adaptive physical education (AFC).
