5-year-old Sonya Gryazeva quite recently could not utter a single word. She lived in her own world, did not react to the addressed speech, did not look people in the eye, did not play with children and was completely devoid of her own emotions.
Delayed psycho-speech development and autistic disorders were provoked by unsuccessful childbirth. Parts of the child's brain were affected and microcurrent reflexology is now helping to «start» these damaged areas.
Thanks to the support of 915 Toobers, we managed to raise the necessary amount and send Sonya for another course of treatment at the Samara Rehabilitation Center.
For 2.5 weeks Sonya studied with a neuropsychologist, defectologist and speech therapist, went to massages and manual therapy. And during the lessons of adaptive physical education, they developed Sonya's weak arms using the small dumbbells and balls, trained her feet, worked out movements in the right directions: forward-backward-up-down.
After the last course Sonya learned to pronounce individual words, but the dialogue did not work out in any way. Now she can answer whether she wants something or not, whether she had a good day. There is an understanding at the everyday level - Sonya can bring or give something. She talks a lot, repeats more often after others and uses phrases that she has heard before.
Reflexotherapy has accumulative effect, and the main results usually appear over time. But Sonya's mother already notes a positive trend: “The defectologist is very pleased with us, and the neuropsychologist gives great hopes. We can get back to normal or be very close to it, so we will practice as much as necessary. Thanks to caring people for the tremendous help to our family! "
