House for orphaned kids continues its work!

Kolia from the Amur Children's Home is 4 years old. The boy has a genetic disease and multiple accompanying pathologies. He became a ward of the "Road of Life" Foundation in a critical situation — specialists in the region were concerned not only for his health but also for his life. Capital doctors made the correct diagnosis, performed several surgeries, and alleviated the child's condition. Kolia has not only learned to eat, play, and smile by himself, but he also took his first steps with support and then independently. All these successes would have been impossible without Kolia's nanny. Her care is emphasized in every hospital where Kolia is treated. Thanks to nanny Lyubov, Kolia has a reliable attachment in his life — she is always nearby. Between treatment courses, Kolia and his nanny live at the Social Center of the "Home for Life" Foundation — returning 1000 km every time would be very difficult for the boy. Here, he has friends — orphaned children coming from all regions of the country for treatment and rehabilitation, his favorite toys, and his own little chair. Among their favorite activities is cooking together on weekends and choosing something they love, as such opportunities are not available to children in orphanages.
