Yusuf has completed an intensive rehabilitation course!

Yusuf is 4 years old, he has delayed speech development and an autism spectrum disorder. After 2 years, his parents sounded the alarm and began contacting various specialists, Yusuf did not respond to the name, did not understand the speech addressed. At the beginning of rehabilitation, a specialist conducted a test, according to the results of which a training program was compiled for Yusuf. During the intensive classes, the boy learned to cooperate with the teacher, calmly part with the motivational subject, and began to turn to his name. The teacher worked on visual perception, motor imitation, and an alternative communication system using PECS cards. Yusuf has formed an index gesture, onomatopoeia has appeared, and now he can briefly make eye contact. Yusuf learned how to jump with a hint. Balance exercises alternated with exercises with a ball and rings, and later these exercises were combined. The boy was able to stand on a treadmill without the support of a trainer, stand confidently on a balancing cushion, and there is a positive trend in the development of large and small motor skills. Small toys and a ball were used to work on visual-motor coordination.
