Khalid finished his rehabilitation course - thank you for your participation!

Khalid is 5 years old. He has been diagnosed with childhood autism. He has delayed speech development, is restless and irritable, reacts poorly to spoken words and is prone to stereotypical behaviour. This is the first time Khalid's family have sought support from a charity. Until now, they have tried to manage on their own, working with their son from the age of 2 at home and visiting local specialists. However, despite their efforts, there has been no significant improvement. The neurologist recommended that Khalid's mother go to Moscow to a certain centre where she could learn how to teach her child herself. He needs specialised classes and an ABA therapy programme tailored individually to his needs. But there is no possibility of travelling at her own expense. There are two older children in the family.
