Muhammad is a six-year-old boy in need of special care and attention. He is the youngest of five children in a bereaved family, where his father passed away almost four years ago. This event has seriously complicated the life of the whole family, especially the mother, who is now raising the children alone. Muhammad was born with Down syndrome, cerebral palsy and delayed psycho-verbal development. All these peculiarities require constant medical monitoring and regular rehabilitation courses. For the boy, sessions with an ABA specialist, an Adaptive Physical Education (APE) specialist and a sensory integration specialist are essential. These specialists help Muhammad develop his motor, speech and social skills. Muhammad's mother is grateful for the support her son receives, but admits that she cannot afford to pay for the necessary rehabilitation courses on her own.
