Yasmina has completed an intensive rehabilitation course!

We thank you for the funds you have raised for Khadija's rehabilitation! Unfortunately, due to her health condition, the girl was unable to attend a rehabilitation course in Astrakhan. Your help was sent to Yasmina, who has moderate mental retardation of mixed origin with severe speech and moderate emotional and volitional impairments. She is 4 years old, she does not interact with other children, and at the age of 1.5, the girl stopped looking into her eyes and responding to spoken language. As a result of the intensive rehabilitation course, Yasmina has mastered new skills and advanced in her development. Thanks to the training with specialists, the girl began to react more actively to the voice, turning towards the sound source. Yasmina has a positive dynamic in onomatopoeia, she has learned to pronounce simple words consisting of one or two syllables. The behavioral analyst worked with Yasmina using the PECS system. The girl learned to ask by pointing to special cards, look for identical objects and compare identical and non-identical pictures. After studying with an adaptive sports instructor, Yasmina began to keep her balance and control her body better, and her coordination of movements improved significantly. The coach also worked on further improving the girl's large and small motor skills by using exercises with an object (hoop, ball, cones).
