Emir, one of two twins born at 28 weeks, is battling a serious condition - stage 5 retinopathy of prematurity. This means that without staged surgical intervention, he could go completely blind.
His twin brother, Omur, also suffers from this diagnosis.
Despite all the difficulties, the twins' parents, residents of one of the CIS countries, have already done an incredible thing: with their own efforts, they have collected and paid for three operations for each of their sons in Russia.
Thanks to this, the boys now have a reaction to light and can distinguish between day and night - this is huge progress!
Now the family faces a new challenge: to raise funds for further treatment of their sons.
All financial possibilities have already been exhausted, and having accidentally learnt about our foundation, they asked for help!
