Thanks to your support, all five women participating in our “Little Home for the Baby” project safely gave birth in Moscow. Each child received the specialized medical care they needed—care that was unavailable in their home regions.
Throughout the entire period of pregnancy and the postpartum stage, our social coordinators provided the mothers with everyday support, while psychologists helped them cope with anxiety and emotional challenges. This was especially important for women who found themselves far from home during such a crucial time.
We especially want to share the story of little Makar, the son of Anastasia Gavrilova from the Vologda region. You may remember that during her pregnancy, Makar was diagnosed with three heart defects, and doctors advised terminating the pregnancy. Thanks to your support, Anastasia found the strength to fight for her child's life. Makar was born in Moscow and immediately underwent the necessary surgery. The family has now returned home, and Makar has every chance of a healthy future.
Thank you for being with us and helping these families get a chance at a happy future!
