Dima lives in a remote village, so the opportunity to go on a professional rehabilitation course was a real gift for the child and his family!
Dima's mother sent us a letter of thanks. The mother writes in the letter:
"Dear Tooba platform users, on behalf of our large family I would like to thank you for the opportunity to receive professional rehabilitation services for our Dima. We are always working with Dmitrijs at home, but rehabilitation in the medical centre has much more speedy results, the efficiency of sessions is much higher, and after a week of treatment and sessions Dmitrijs has already notably moved forward in his development. My son tried hard, he was not capricious, and now he can move his legs when crawling, he can stand his leg better when making a step. This is a real victory for us! He is walking with support, his heels are sinking more into the floor and he will soon stop walking on his toes. His back has got stronger, which means he can sit for a long time, stand more and walk.
After the session with the speech therapist and speech pathologist Dima is learning new words - some of them are syllabic, and some are articulating well.
